We sort of knew Coco would be back, and so he shall -- with a cross-country comedy tour. Our favorite lanky redhead told his Twitter followers Thursday that he's hitting 30 cities over 20 dates, bringing music and comedy to a theater near you.

Coco's Tweet:

"Hey Internet: I'm headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour. I repeat: It's half-assed."

He's calling it the "Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television" tour, an obvious jab at both the entire NBC debacle and the fact that his contract bars him from appearing on television until September 1st.

Everyone knows that story already -- and if you haven't, allow us to show you the way out of the cave. You know, the one about NBC returning Jay Leno to his 11:30 p.m. slot, and trying to force Conan's The Tonight Show back to five past midnight? Since Conan refused and negotiated a $45 million dollar settlement for himself and his employees, his fans have been waiting to see what he'll do next.

"It was either a massive 30-city tour or start helping out around the house," Conan mused in a statement.

Whatever his reasons, his fans couldn't be happier -- and neither could we for that matter. The tour's press release promises "a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence." It will include sidekick Andy Richter and the former "Tonight Show" band. The whole thing starts April 12 in Eugene, Oregon. Then, Conan hits Atlantic City before putting on two shows in NYC June 1st and 2nd at Radio City Music Hall.

At first, Conan was just doing one show at Radio City, but there was reportedly such a huge demand for tickets on Thursday that MSG Entertainment and John Scher/Metropolitan Talent added the second.

If you want to catch Coco at Radio City, you'd better hurry. Tickets cost from $44 to $84 (including a $4.50 per ticket facility charge) and are available at TeamCoCo.com or through Ticketmaster or at 800-745-3000.
