I am a family film lover at heart, and when they are produced well, like Tooth Fairy, I recommend them highly. The movie has a wonderful message for children who endeavor to realize their dreams and use their imagination. And although it gets a little silly, this film has a lot of good laughs, especially seeing The Rock in a tutu.

This child’s book transfers nicely to the screen with embellishments that make it fun to watch. Filled with lessons to be learned and reaffirmed, this film is great for the whole family. Even though it may be a little scary for the young tots, Where The Wild Things Are can be entertaining, and a great teaching tool as well.

Here is a film called Shorts that was penned and directed by Spy Kid’s Robert Rodriguez, who takes a simple storyline and turns it into a unique movie. Although unique is mostly considered good, in this case the word to me means extraordinary, odd or strange and unusual.
The film will have a lot of life for youngsters who are awed by powers from a magical wishing rock, most teens and adults will probably come...

I liked G-Force, it’s a very good family film filled with comedy and adventure, that kids and most parents will like. It’s a rollercoaster ride in 3D, as the film pops out at a frequency that keeps youngsters grabbing at the air and pushing themselves to the back of their seats. If you are looking for something that will keep your children occupied and give you a restful (that is if you do not get...

Extremely kid friendly, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs makes its way into theaters, providing a fun time for the youngsters. Adults will probably enjoy the film as long as they are accompanying children. If you are over the age of 12, and have already seen Ice Age and its sequel, then you may feel like this one is more of the same.

Sorry to say Will Ferrell’s newest comedy venture, Land of the Lost, is no better than his last one (Semi-Pro). Both fail to delight his main fan base. Unlike the extremely funny Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, and the goofy Stepbrothers, Ferrell dips to the youngsters in this tale that should have been called Land of the Least. However, with that said, youngsters may like all the tomfoolery and sight gags in this...

An animated adventure comedy bursts on the screen from Disney-Pixar -- it’s called Up, and the touching high flier is excellent for the whole family. The Disney-Pixar formula for making a film spirited and interesting with the ability to warm your heart has not changed here, only the storyline and the characters.
