With the Presidential Election right around the corner, there are more than a few people speaking their mind about the election process, how to choose the right candidate and their opinion on what is needed to provide a better electoral system in the United States.
Some of the individuals that spoke to us had some very valid and interesting view points, including those from Jesse Laz of Locksley, Andy Deane of Bella Morte, Jack O'Shea of Bayside, Ben Grant of The Status, Wendy Carrillo from Si TV, actress Erica Durance, Blaise Beyhan of Ionia,
political artist Lauren Bergman, The Perfects, David Lynam from LYNAM, Christopher (aka Mansions), tattoo artist Zulu, and Chad Moore from ReelComp.

A torrent of explosions, rapid gunfire, and quirky quips work as a mainstay in USA network’s action/comedy, Burn Notice. Now on location in Miami, filming the much anticipated second season of the unexpectedly top-rated show; actor’s Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, Bruce Campbell and Sharon Gless are hard at work portraying the intricate relationships and realities of their respective characters (Michael Westen, Fiona Glenanne, Sam Axe and Madeline Westen).
Burn Notice is a menagerie of intriguing questions and situations. Michael
Westen (Donovan) is an agent that has been given a burn
notice, the pink slip of the spy world, and has been dumped in Miami in hopes
that he will forget his past, and begin a new life. Unwilling to settle down, Michael ceaselessly pursues information on his burn, the lingering questions that drive his character: Why he got burned, and by whom?

Photo by Dimitrios Kambouris The poster for Finding Amanda, Peter Tolan’s latest film co-starring Matthew Broderick and Brittany Snow, does not immediately call to mind drugs or “dancing” or decadence in Las Vegas, and I foresee problems arising from the fact that it would never occur to most parents that either actor might star in something family-unfriendly.
However, those who do not have to worry about protecting the innocence of young charges should enjoy the film. Broderick and Snow do wonderful jobs of showing that, yes, they can act against type. “It’s not a part that I get to play often, which was nice for me,” Broderick says of his role as Taylor Peters, a recovering drug and alcohol addict who spends a great deal of time indulging in his latest vice of gambling when he goes to Las Vegas to find his niece, the titular Amanda. “I always wanted to be an actor who was cast in parts where you just say [in a deep, gruff voice], ‘I’m goin’ out!’ … ‘Where is a farrier?’”

Full Gallery Below It is quite surreal when you meet someone you have admired for their work, whether it be a performer or artist of any kind. Seeing their face on your tele is very different than when it is up close and personal. It is a swirl of anxiety mixed in with a rush of excitement, all stirred inside you with a bizarre feeling of numbness.
You become uncertain about what your initial reaction might be. Not sure if you will faint, burst in flames like Fawkes (Dumbledore's loyal phoenix), or be as skeptical as Cornelius Fudge. Then it happens, they open their mouths to say hello and it hits you very quickly. They are no different from you and me. They are very talented and well-known, but people, nonetheless.

For those of you who don't know Mike Broder, let me introduce you to the main man of the SuperCon event, who has resuscitated the lonely hearts of convention fans in South Florida. It has been a long time, at least over ten years, since South Florida has seen a gathering reviving classic genres like anime, animation, manga, comics and sci-fi. Thanks to Mike, along with his supporting staff, this year's show is going to be an even bigger and better multi-format extravaganza.
With over 60,000 square feet of convention space in a gorgeous location, encircled in Weston's stunning natural landscape, the Florida SuperCon (FSC) might just remain an ongoing guest at the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Resort for several years to come.
