Including former members of “Ambulance LTD", The Red Romance was formed in 2006.  With a sound that is similar to Franz Ferdinand; and influences like The Smiths, and Duran Duran, The Red Romance bring an interesting take on alternative/rock to the streets of New York.

The band's sound is very relaxing and easy to listen to.  They create beautiful melodies that are strongly assisted with the soft vocals of lead singer Matt Dublin.  They sprinkle some punk here and there throughout the album, but their music is driven mainly by a softer alternative appeal, harboring strong beats and calming vocals that blend the songs together into ballads of modern alternative rock.
