He uses different genres of music ranging from folk and pop, to blues, to create a style intrinsically his own. Having a scratchy voice in songs can be a detriment to some singers, and though Justin sometimes uses a rough edge in some of his songs, it makes him a person to watch out for - he sounds good doing it. Justin took a risk doing a cappella at the beginning of his opening track "Down in a Cold Dirty Well", but lucky for him, his voice is so smooth and rich that going without instrumentals worked quite well.Songs to listen to: Be Back Soon, Criminal, I'm in Peace, If I Gave You My Life Go to Justin's MySpace to learn more about him.

Born in New York, and growing up in Toronto, Justin Nozuka was the sixth of seven kids. Though he's young and hasn't been in the music business for long, he's already had stage time with Jully Black, Sam Roberts, John Cale, Ziggy Marley, Xavier Rudd, and Crowded House. That's a great start for Justin and he's only going up from here.
