When I talk about singers like Whitney and Celine, I don't need to say their last names for people to know who I'm talking about. The greats don't need a last name for people to recognize their worth. Alanis is another name on the greats list, and she's adding to her worth with her latest release Flavors of Entanglement.

There are numerous songs on this album that have an Indian feel to them that also incorporate rock. Alanis is a singer that's unpredictable, and I believe that is an element of her greatness. She's able to transcend time in flawless music, and Flavors of Entanglement is no exception. There are variations to each track that makes them all unique, but they all work together to create the whole of the album.
