 Teddy Thompson already has a couple of albums under his belt, and with each one he shows a different facet of who he is.
His latest album, A Piece of What You Need shows an edgier, more pop and upbeat side to Teddy.
"This is a happy record," Teddy Thompson says of his new Verve Forecast release A Piece of What You Need. "Well, maybe not happy, but upbeat. Actually, maybe not upbeat, but it does have some up-tempo songs! Anyway, it's as close as I've gotten to making the record I've always wanted to make."
This is album is an instant hit; from beginning to end Teddy gives fans a piece of what they need.
He gives a perfect blend of up-tempo songs while also giving fans laid-back tracks too.
Each song is worth a listen, or five.
A Piece of What You Need gives an escape route from the everyday world into a zone that is smooth and melodious, all to the tune of Teddy Thompson.
