loslonelyboys.jpg The Garzo brothers, better known as the Los Lonely Boys, are based out of Texas and have just recently released their newest album Forgiven. The brothers like to call their style of music Texan Rock n' Roll because they combine Rock n' Roll, Blues, Soul, Country and Tejano.

The opening track "Heart Won't Tell a Lie" gives off a feel of Carlos Santana with a hint of blues and jazz that makes the head nod to the beat and the feet tap to the rhythms. It is easy to tell that these guys have been working magic with their music because the songs are sophisticated technically and musically, while making it seem so effortless. The album seems really low-key, and I'm not sure whether that will be to the band's betterment or detriment. Only time will tell.

Top tracks to listen to: Heart Won't Tell a Lie, I'm a Man, Superman, You Can't See the Light

Check out Los Lonely Boys' MySpace for more information about the band, including tour dates.

Loving You Always and Love Don't Care About Me are also great songs on Los Lonely Boys' new CD.

It's best to attend a live performance, however, to hear and experience the magic of their Latin sound.

Heart Won't Tell a Lie is also a favorite of mine from this new LLB release, Forgiven and I really like all the songs you listed as your favs, too. But I do think the first single on radio right now- "Staying With Me" is such an enjoyable song with great harmonies and a sweet melody- a welcoming breath of fresh air this hot summer!
FYI- Here is a great performance of Heart Won't Tell A Lie by Los Lonely Boys on the Jimmy Kimmel Show from Kimmel's youtube site:
