Philadelphia's 10th Annual FirstGlance Film Festival wants to bridge the gap between independent filmmakers and the extensive audience who watch independent films.

How will this year be different than the years prior? The film festival will be stationed at the Adrienne Theater in Philadelphia from September 28 through October 9, but the festival is accessible worldwide via the internet.

The @ Home Film Festival is being powered by IndiePix.net's download-to-own software, and will give independent film fans the chance to not only view but own select short films that are being viewed at the Adrienne Theater.

The films scheduled during the festival and through the @ Home Film Fest are:

Always Greener -- (Eric Grote, 6 mins, PA) -- The story of a couple, and one man's temptation of another life. Starring Matt Silay, Leigh Ann Hughes, Gillian Parsons, Elizabeth Hughes.

No Destination -- (Shannah Laumeister, 18 mins, CA) -- What happens when the rules of a mad man make up his life, when he wakes up one morning and realizes his life is about to end... Starring John Savage, Guillermo Diaz.

Away Game -- (Theodore Nannicelli, 10 mins, PA) -- Opening Day changes a son's relationship with his father forever. Starring Johnny Pulcinella, Tom Tansey.

American Deluxe -- (Aaron Brownlee, 15 mins, CA) -- You're buying what they're selling. Starring Kristia Knowles, Jim Pacitti.
