  • The Characters: cast members reflect
  • A Place Called Haven: Explore this exotic landscape
  • The Reaping: The Seventh Plague: those creepy bugs

Critique:

This movie received a really bad rating from a lot of top-notch critics. If there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is to almost never listen to what the top-notch critics have to say. They are in a strange class of their own, going above and beyond the call of duty to take apart every nook and cranny of every film they see - when all we really wanna know is - was it entertaining?

The answer to this question, as far as The Reaping is concerned, is yes - it is entertaining.

This is not the "best movie ever", however, it is suspenseful, well acted and has a definite entertainment quality. Swank does an amazing job carrying this film through a few bad lines and some hokey plot points near the very end. While it does borrow a lot from other films of the same genre, it still manages a few interesting plot twists of its own.

The features on the DVD are a great compliment to the production, definitely adding a boost to the value of the entire ensemble.

What the Flip?
Daniel Sargeant - Tuesday, 06 January 2009
MTV has their own little campaign going on for college students right now. They gave 100 Flip camcorders to 100 college students around the country and told them to get inspired and surprise us with some video footage of their own design. Different themes guided them, some were open-ended, others were scavenger hunts and others were questions only they could answer. Read More

newyearimage.jpgA lot has happened in 2008. Of course, it will go down in history as the year America elected Obama into office, the first African-American President. And, thankfully, the last year Bush has to ruin what's left of the country he has polluted for so many years.

This is not the case with season two of ABC Family’s hit teen/sci-fi drama Kyle XY: Revelations.
