Make Way for Fashion and World Peace Print E-mail

jgerard.jpg Having left cold-war communist Russia at the age of 10, Julia Gerard has made huge headway in demonstrating the significance of World Peace. To help her efforts, she uses the fashion scene in Los Angeles at J Gerard Design Studios & Peace Gallery on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood, CA.

Gerard has outfitted stars for red carpet events, movies, television, concert tours, and music videos. She is the Queen of Fashion in Rock n' Roll, as well as a woman building awareness at outlets for Peace Campaigns.

Prince, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Angelina Jolie and Heidi Klum have all been dressed by Julia Gerard.

Coming to the US from communist Russia, she said, "I didn't know what peace was until I came here, you can smell it, every one of your senses lights up with it."

Gerard's fashion line has come to the attention of the One Campaign, and world fashion-music events including BAFTA, Miami Winter Music Conference, the Cannes Film Festival and Milan Fashion Week.

Her work includes t-shirts, jeans, couture gowns, jewelry, art, furniture—even home accessories. She puts original peace symbols on each line she makes so that each person on earth can have something with a peace sign.

She is working with movie stars and musicians alike. Gerard has aligned with rising artist Linda Strawberry and director Justin Coloma to design a concept for the new video that will help promote Strawberry's new album The Lost Record.

Gerard is also keeping busy by helping promote the Blanket-A-Human Charity fund-raiser at the House of Blues in Hollywood, CA, on Monday, November 12. All proceeds go to the victims who were affected by the recent California Wildfires.
