Critique:
The seventh season of CSI has been said by many to be their strongest season to date. Plots are tight, the cast is talented, and production is superb. While each episode offers a fresh new case for the team to solve, an ongoing mystery involving a killer who leaves behind precise miniature replicas of the crime scene ties all the season’s episodes together.
Season Seven gives the viewer a broader glimpse into the personal lives of the team, and starts off with two of the team members struggling to keep their budding relationship a secret. Throughout the course of the season, new faces join the cast, lives are in peril, team members find themselves as victims, and some are forced to deal with their own personal demons.
Aside from the non-stop action in each of the 24 season episodes, this DVD set is packed with special features and audio commentaries on various episodes, as well as a bonus preview CD of the CSI computer game. CSI: The Seventh Season is a must-have for any fan of the series, or anyone who enjoys good dramatic television.
