Scion Presents: Installation 4 - "It's A Beautiful World" opened in Miami at The Raleigh Hotel Penthouse, featuring works by Blaine Fontana, Blek LeRat, Dalek, David Choe, David Ellis, Eye One, Francesco LoCastro, Freddi C, Ron English, Sage Vaughn and many more.

The theme, "It's a Beautiful World", was interpreted by each artist, in one of four mediums - painting, photography, sculpture, and collage. Forty pieces of art were displayed in the gallery on the eighth floor, with two large monster-look-a-like balloons on the roof.

The atmosphere was amazing, with the generous attitude of the artists, and the beautiful representation of their artwork. Most of the work was displayed on the walls of the penthouse, with the sculptures presented on blocks throughout the center of the room.

Attendees were provided refreshments and hors d'oeuvres, as well as a free copy of a book of postcards, 03.jpgwhich depicts the artwork in the gallery. It was a very pleasant, relaxing event, with many of the artists present to converse with, including Ron English, and Blek LeRat.

This was the fourth year of the Scion Installation. Launched in 2003, Scion Installation is a revolutionary art tour affirming Scion's ongoing commitment to supporting independent artistic expression and featuring work from an unprecedented collection of contemporary artists.

Scion's mission is to provide distinctive products. They offer the opportunity to personalize and innovate within the consumer-driven process at the retail level.

There was even a Scion present at the event covered in the art of Ron English, accompanied by holographic windows, including depictions of earthy-looking dragons, and little cyclopic green aliens, one of which blinks at you as you walk by.

Don't miss the upcoming event sponsored by Scion in Austin, TX beginning January 17th. For more information visit their website .
