Formed in 2006, this very new group has already released a well-received EP, and this album even has a song exclusively in Swedish ("Vi Går till Stranden") - a feat few American bands can claim. Spanning a variety of topics and emotions, the songs here encompass many aspects of life, from love to melancholy and everything in between. The tone of the album is mostly laid-back, pleasant and easy to listen to, though still rocks enough. Instrumentally, the melodies aren't super intricate or overdone, but fitting (without being boring) - energizing and catchy for the upbeat songs, soft and sweet for slower songs. Transitions between and within songs come smoothly, and the lyrics generally stay away from being too cliché. Overall, the album may not count as revolutionary, but it provides intrigue and savvy parallel to those from well established bands, making for a solid debut worth buying.
