After the success of their debut album, The Poison, Bullet For My Valentine has high expectations for this sophomore release. The four musicians that make up this British metal band already have touring experience under their belts from promoting The Poison, and a reputation for their melodic heavy sound and catchy choruses. Scream Aim Fire kicks things up a bit. High energy, fast paced, and aggressive, this album is not only deliciously intense, but the songs are very real and easy to relate to. The effect is refreshing and empowering. With the powerful violence of the title track, and the vengeful tone of "Waking the Demon", to the softer sentiments of "Hearts Burst into Fire" and "Say Goodnight", Scream Aim Fire provides a multifaceted view of life from a stimulating, metalcore perspective.
