School,
Fall, Shopping : 'Nough Said ...
Let's talk colours girls ...

(OK, so lets not talk too much ...) Keywords
for this fall season are colour, fun and casual. Don’t be
afraid to layer or accessorize in different colours than your outfit.
Going away from the same colour tones will make your look more edgy
and trendy. Layers are great for this year's back to school season.
Boatnecks, V-necks, no-necks ... they all go great over solid tank
tops.
For days with a chill, a hoodie or a blazer is perfect for any
outfit. Blazers look great over well fit t-shirts, and Corduroy
blazers are the new trend.
Sashes are multifunctional accessories that you can match with
any outfit. You can wear it around your waist, around your neck
as a long decorative scarf or even on your head to tie back your
hair (Particularly if you have a mop of hair like me ...).
You can also leave the long part of the scarf outside your jacket
and it will make it look less plain.
If you want a sporty look, wear your mini skirts with sneakers.
If you want a more sophisticated look, knee high boots look really
nice. Of course, I can tell you all day long my suggestions, and
so will ALL the other teen mags as well. Ultimately, YOU are the
one that must decide what you like. Cool is defined by you after
all.
The best advice I can give to anyone trying to create an impression
: Make your own styles, and don't be afraid to go against the "popular"
look, find your own "look" and make it work.
Below are a few ideas to get you started; with tees, trousers,
blazers, accessories and shoes to (hopefully) light your creative
shopping fire. (Click to see larger version ...

| *Tip* The corduroy skirt shown here would look great with
a pair of knee high boots. |

 |
| * Tip* The short sleeve tees would look great underneath a
blazer or jacket. (And don't ya just love Elmo?!) |
| Accessories/Shoes : |
|
| *Tip* A hat like the one shown here would look better if you
straighten your hair with a blow dryer or iron. |
WHERE TO SHOP
Check out these places either in your local area to find that perfect
ensemble, or visit them online! Don't forget, if you are looking
for that quirky, interesting look ... your best bet would be to
take a trip over to a thrift shop ... you'd be surprised what kind
of treasures you can find there.
